When I was a small boy playing in the forest and fields of back country Maine, I would often run home to tell my mother about some remarkable thing that had occurred. She would listen, then say, “Oh, Woody (my family nickname), you’re always exaggerating!” Whatever it was, I would swear it was true. Whatever was real, my version was better; it still is. This is what I enjoy most, telling a story.

Donald Ladew was born in Yarmouth, Maine and spent the first 14 years of his life in several small towns not far from the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Mr. Ladew served in the US Navy and traveled extensively in South America and lived in South East Asia for many years.
Mr. Ladew is an avid golfer and fly fisherman. He currently lives near Los Angeles.
